Urostab is a combined herbal product, which due to the presence of a citrate complex, promotes the disintegration and removal of Uric acid kidney stones & urinary tract stones.

He has spasmolytic action which helps to move the stones along the urinary tract, reduces the pain of kidney and ureteric colic improves renal function and increases diuresis. Urostab has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial actions. Urostab takes part in the regulation of crystal-colloidal balance, reduces the urine concentration of substances related to stones formation, it also prevents the accumulation of particles around the stone cores thus suspending stones growth & formation.

Urostab litholytic effect isn’t dependent on the urine pH.

The red Cranberry fruits are rich in proanthocyanidins (PACs), which have antibacterial properties; they are used in food integration to reduce the recurrence of urinary tract infections as proanthocyanidins reduce adhesion forces between the bacterium and the surface of the urinary tract. Cranberry also stimulates the production of hippuric acid which helps to maintain a favourable bacterial balance in the urinary tract.

Most UTIs start when Escherichia coli (E. coli) – a microorganism that lives in the digestive tract and is found in the anal area – invade the bladder and penetrate a protective coating of the superficial cells that line the bladder. In most cases, urine flow washes out bacteria from the bladder. But the cell wall of E. coli bacteria has tiny finger-like projections that contain complex molecules called lectins on their surface.

So, how to use Urostab ?

For oral administration.  should be taken with a sufficient amount of water.
The recommended dose is:

Adults: 1 or 2 capsules, 2 to 3 times daily;

Children above 6 years should take 1 capsule 2 to 3 times daily.

The duration of the treatment is determined by the doctor.

Warnings of usage:

Do not take this product if you have individual intolerance to some of its components. It’s necessary to take care if you experience edema due to heart or kidney failure. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
